With the input I received on a previous post I tried the poly mesh stabilizer. I actually ended up hooping the poly mesh and tear away, making sure the poly mesh was closest to the shirt. I am pleased with the outcome, but it still needs to go through the wash to see how it looks.

That is how I hoop mine, with the poly close to shirt then with the tear-away and it works the best out of all other methods I've tried (and I've tried a bunch!) Very cute shirts, now I want to go make my daughter one :)
